Rajasthan Royals made a big move at the IPL 2026 mini auction by securing India spinner Ravi Bishnoi for INR 7.2 crore. This purchase accounted for nearly half of their INR 16.05 crore purse. Bishnoi expressed his excitement about joining the team, stating that playing for Rajasthan Royals feels like playing at home since he started his cricket journey as a net bowler with them. The team’s lead owner, Manoj Badale, praised Bishnoi’s talent and expressed satisfaction in having him back in Royals colors.

In addition to Bishnoi, RR also acquired Vignesh Puthur and Yash Raj Punia for INR 30 Lakhs each. Before the auction, RR traded Sanju Samson to CSK and received players like Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran in return. They also retained several players, including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, and Shimron Hetmyer. The full list of players purchased by RR at the auction included Ravi Bishnoi, Sushant Mishra, Vignesh Puthur, Yash Raj Punja, and others. The team seems to be gearing up for an exciting season with a mix of new acquisitions and retained talent.
