Rajasthan Royals have reached out to the Rajasthan government and the state’s Sports Council urging them to take strict action against Jaideep Bihani, the ad-hoc committee convenor of the Rajasthan Cricket Association. Bihani had made allegations of match-fixing against the Royals following their loss to Lucknow Super Giants. The franchise has also informed the BCCI about the issue and written to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore refuting the allegations.

In their letter, the Royals stated that Bihani’s comments were false and baseless, causing damage to the franchise’s reputation. They emphasized that they have been working successfully with the state association and government for 18 years. Bihani had expressed displeasure at being left out of the loop by the Royals while organizing IPL games in Jaipur, but the Royals clarified that they were working closely with the BCCI and Rajasthan Sports Council under the guidance of the state government.

The franchise requested the Sports Council and state government to take necessary actions to prevent such conduct and expressed faith in their leadership to intervene appropriately. The Sports Council confirmed receiving the letter, but its president was unavailable for comment on the course of action.

Overall, Rajasthan Royals are seeking accountability and action against the allegations made by Jaideep Bihani to protect their reputation and integrity in the cricketing community.
