The ten Indian Premier League franchises have announced their retained and released players for the upcoming season’s mini auction, set to take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16. All teams submitted their lists to the Board of Control for Cricket in India by the November 15 deadline.
One of the major trades ahead of the auction was the transfer of Sanju Samson to Chennai Super Kings, with Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran moving to Rajasthan Royals. Additionally, Kolkata Knight Riders made a significant move by releasing their Rs. 23.75 crore signing, Venkatesh Iyer, and letting go of two-time IPL winning player Andre Russell, who they had retained for Rs. 12 crore.
After the retention window closed, each team’s remaining purse for the IPL 2026 auction is as follows:
– Chennai Super Kings: Rs. 43.40 crore
– Mumbai Indians: Rs. 2.75 crore
– Royal Challengers Bangalore: Rs. 16.40 crore
– Kolkata Knight Riders: Rs. 64.30 crore
– Sunrisers Hyderabad: Rs. 25.50 crore
– Gujarat Titans: Rs. 12.90 crore
– Rajasthan Royals: Rs. 16.05 crore
– Delhi Capitals: Rs. 21.80 crore
– Lucknow Super Giants: Rs. 22.95 crore
– Punjab Kings: Rs. 11.50 crore
