The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) team kicked off their preparations for the upcoming Indian Premier League season with a vibrant Holi celebration at their hotel in Lucknow. Led by new captain Rishabh Pant and vice-captain Nicholas Pooran, along with mentor Zaheer Khan, head coach Justin Langer, and other team members, the players indulged in a day of ‘masti and dhamaal’.
Amidst DJ music and dhol drums, Pant and spinner Ravi Bishnoi took charge of applying colours to their teammates, with Langer making a grand entrance in a ‘nawabi don’ avatar. Fans were treated to lively photos and videos of the players enjoying the festivities, with Bishnoi stealing the show by playing the dhol. The team members were seen wearing traditional ethnic attire, which was soon covered in Holi colours, while also relishing festive treats like gujiyas and jalebis.
The celebration marked a perfect start to LSG’s campaign, with chief operating officer Vinay Chopra expressing well wishes for the team. The joyous occasion saw the players bonding and having a great time together, setting a positive tone for the upcoming IPL season.
