The much-anticipated date for PSL fans has finally been revealed by the PCB – January 4, 2025, marks the player retention announcement for PSL 10. On this day, all six franchises will disclose the players they will be retaining for the upcoming season, with the news being spread across PSL’s social media platforms and official WhatsApp channels.

Player retention is a crucial phase for both cricket fans and franchises as it sets the foundation for the team’s structure prior to the draft. It also gives fans an insight into which of their favorite players will continue playing for their teams in the upcoming season.

Despite some players already being signed for the IPL due to a scheduling clash, PSL fans have reasons to rejoice as several star players have committed to the PSL 10 draft, along with a plethora of local talent.
