The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent a legal notice to South African pacer Corbin Bosch for allegedly breaching his contractual obligations regarding the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Despite being picked up by a PSL franchise, Bosch chose to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Mumbai Indians, leading to the PCB’s disapproval.

The IPL and PSL are scheduled to overlap this year, with IPL starting on March 22 and PSL on April 11. Bosch, who was initially picked by Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL draft, was signed by Mumbai Indians as a replacement for injured Lizaad Williams.

The PCB has demanded an explanation from Bosch for his actions and warned of possible repercussions for his withdrawal from the PSL. The board emphasized the importance of honoring professional and contractual commitments.

Bosch, a bowling all-rounder, has represented South Africa in limited overs formats and was part of the Proteas squad for the Champions Trophy. Despite being yet to make his IPL debut, Bosch has been involved with Rajasthan Royals previously as a net bowler.
