The BCCI has released the schedule for the IPL 2025 season, with Punjab Kings set to face Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on March 25 for their first match. The Kings will split their home games between New Chandigarh and Dharamsala, with the latter hosting three matches towards the end of the season. The league phase will consist of each team playing 14 matches, totaling 70 matches overall. The playoffs are scheduled from May 20 to May 25, with Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The tournament will conclude at Eden Gardens, with Qualifier 2 and the final set to be held in Kolkata.

Punjab Kings made headlines during the auction by signing Shreyas Iyer for Rs. 26.75 crore, retaining Arshdeep Singh for Rs. 18 crore, and adding Yuzvendra Chahal for the same price. The team’s league campaign will wrap up with an away match against Rajasthan Royals.
