The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Playoffs are set to take place in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, with the final scheduled for June 3 in Ahmedabad. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials have been informed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India that Mumbai is likely to host at least one, possibly the first two, of the Playoff matches.

Originally, Hyderabad and Kolkata were announced as venues for the IPL Playoffs, following the convention of awarding the final and Qualifier 2 to the defending champion and the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator to the losing finalist. However, in light of the IPL’s week-long suspension, the schedule has been revised for the league matches, but the Playoff venues are yet to be officially allocated.

With the weather forecast and logistics in mind, Mumbai and Ahmedabad are the top contenders to host the IPL Playoffs. The Playoffs are scheduled to begin on May 29, leading up to the final on June 3 in Ahmedabad. Stay tuned for more updates as the IPL 2025 Playoffs approach.
