The Mumbai Indians reclaimed the WPL title by defeating the Delhi Capitals in a thrilling final. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur’s half-century and an all-round performance from Nat Sciver-Brunt helped MI secure their second title. Despite a valiant effort from Marizanne Kapp, Delhi Capitals fell short by 8 runs in their third consecutive final loss.

The Capitals’ run chase of 150 got off to a disastrous start as they lost key wickets early on. Sciver-Brunt’s offcutter dismissed Meg Lanning while Shabnim Ismail trapped Shafali Verma LBW. Despite some boundaries from Jess Jonassen and Jemimah Rodrigues, DC struggled to keep up with the required run rate.

Amelia Kerr’s timely strikes further dented DC’s hopes of a recovery. Kapp’s heroic efforts kept the Capitals in the game, but MI’s experience came to the fore as they closed out the game in the final over. Despite Niki Prasad’s efforts, MI emerged victorious by restricting DC to 141/9.

Earlier, Kapp and Shikha Pandey stifled MI in the powerplay, but Kaur and Sciver-Brunt’s partnership turned the tide in MI’s favor. Kaur’s aggressive batting and Sciver-Brunt’s contributions helped MI post a competitive total of 149/7.

In the end, MI’s total proved to be just enough as they clinched their second WPL title, leaving DC to suffer yet another final defeat. Please provide me with the content you would like me to rewrite.
