Trent Boult has rejoined Mumbai Indians for a second stint, being acquired at the IPL Auction 2025 in Jeddah. Boult was bought for ₹12.5 crore, a significant jump from his base price of ₹2 crore. He was the only player purchased by MI on that day. In addition to Boult, Mumbai Indians also secured the services of Naman Dhir for ₹5.25 crore, Robin Minz for ₹65 lakhs, and Karn Sharma for ₹50 lakhs.
