Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, has unveiled its new logo for the upcoming season. The logo incorporates three powerful symbols – Garuda, the Crown, and the Elephant – each representing different aspects that are deeply connected to Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh.

Garuda symbolizes courage, reflecting the team’s fearless approach to cricket and their determination to take on challenges. The Crown stands for pride and responsibility, reminding the players of the honor they carry when they step onto the field. The Elephant represents strength, wisdom, patience, and unity, symbolizing the unwavering support of the fans.

Shashwat Goenka, owner of LSG, expressed his emotional connection to the new logo, acknowledging the love and belief that the people of Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh have shown towards the team. He highlighted the significance of Garuda in reflecting their aspirations to rise higher, the Crown in representing the pride bestowed upon them by the fans, and the Elephant in symbolizing the region’s strength and loyalty.

Since making their IPL debut in 2022, LSG has yet to clinch a title. They reached the playoffs in 2022 and 2023 but failed to progress past the league phase in the subsequent seasons. The unveiling of the new logo signifies a fresh start for the team as they aim to achieve success in the upcoming season.

The new logo reflects the team’s commitment to embodying the values of courage, pride, and strength as they strive to make their mark in the IPL. Published on Feb 24, 2026.
