Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant continued his impressive form against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, scoring a crucial half-century in their recent match. Pant had struggled in his previous innings as captain but finally found his rhythm, scoring 63 runs off 49 balls with four boundaries and four sixes.

Pant has a strong record against CSK, having scored 438 runs in 12 innings at an average of 48.66. He has also notched up four half-centuries against them, making it the second-highest number of runs he has scored against a team in the IPL.

However, Pant has faced difficulties against spin bowling this season, scoring only 31 runs in 43 matches and being dismissed twice. In contrast, he has performed better against pace, scoring 72 runs in 56 balls.

In the match, CSK chose to field first after winning the toss. Pant’s partnership with Mitchell Marsh helped LSG reach a total of 166/7 in their 20 overs. Despite some standout performances from Jadeja and Pathirana, CSK ultimately fell short in their chase.

Overall, Pant’s consistent performance against CSK and his return to form as captain bode well for Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing IPL season.
