Krains Fuletra was acquired by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs. 30 lakh during the IPL 2026 auction held in Abu Dhabi. This will be Fuletra’s debut in the IPL, although he has previously worked as a net bowler for various franchises, including the Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2025. His talent as a left-arm wrist spinner has made him a valuable asset in the domestic circuit where such players are in short supply.
In the 2025 Saurashtra Pro T20 League, Fuletra impressed with his performance, taking 10 wickets in nine innings for Anmol Kings Halar at an economy rate of seven. He was often relied upon to control the run flow in the middle overs and his consistent performance earned him the Emerging Player award. Despite his success in the T20 format, the 21-year-old has only played two T20 matches for his state team, indicating that he is relatively untested at the senior domestic level.
Published on December 16, 2025, Fuletra’s journey to the IPL showcases the potential he holds as a young and promising spinner in the Indian cricket scene. His selection by the Sunrisers Hyderabad highlights the franchise’s belief in his abilities and offers him a platform to further develop his skills at the highest level of domestic cricket in India.
