Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bengaluru recently made headlines by emulating WWE legend John Cena’s ‘You can’t see me’ gesture during a practice session at the Wankhede Stadium ahead of their IPL 2025 match against Mumbai Indians. In a video posted by RCB on social media, Kohli was seen flaunting his diamond-studded T20 World Cup ring while dancing to Cena’s theme song. This clip quickly went viral, with RCB captioning it as “His time is now, forever.”

Earlier this year, the BCCI awarded the 2024 T20 World Cup-winning squad with diamond rings during the Naman Awards. Dubbed the “Champions Ring,” it featured the names and numbers of each player along with the Ashoka Chakra and the words “India T20 World Champions 2024.” India had emerged victorious in the final against South Africa, with Kohli playing a crucial role by scoring 76 runs.

RCB, currently placed second in the points table, will face Mumbai Indians next. Despite a strong start in the IPL 2025 season, Kohli’s performance has been consistent, with 97 runs in three matches at an average of 48.50.
