K.L. Rahul led Delhi Capitals (DC) to a six-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Rahul’s unbeaten 93 off 53 balls, including seven fours and six sixes, guided DC to chase down the 164-run target. Despite a shaky start with DC at 58 for four, Rahul carefully built momentum and then accelerated when the required rate increased.

In the 15th over, Rahul’s aggressive batting, including three fours and a six off Josh Hazlewood, put DC in a favorable position. Partnering with Tristan Stubbs (38 not out), Rahul ensured DC’s victory with 43 runs needed from five overs. This win marked DC’s fourth consecutive victory in the tournament.

On the other hand, RCB, after a strong start, finished with a below-par total while batting first. Opener Phil Salt’s quick 37 off 17 balls gave RCB a flying start, but his run-out shifted the momentum. The innings slowed down as Kohli and Padikkal struggled to score, with only 32 runs coming from overs five to eleven.

Key wickets fell during this period, including Kohli’s dismissal after a mistimed shot. Despite Tim David’s late flourish with 37 runs off 20 balls, RCB only managed to reach a modest total. DC’s bowlers maintained pressure on RCB’s batsmen, leading to their second consecutive loss at home.

Overall, Rahul’s brilliant innings and DC’s strong team performance secured a well-deserved victory in the match.
