In a season full of ups and downs, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are looking to bounce back as they face the top-placed Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Eden Gardens. KKR, coming off a disappointing performance against Punjab Kings, will be focused on improving their batting display after two below-par totals. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi have been the top run-scorers for KKR, but the team will be looking for more consistent contributions from Quinton de Kock, Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer, and Rinku Singh. Andre Russell and Ramandeep Singh will also need to step up.

KKR will rely on their Indian pace duo of Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora, as well as spinners Narine and Varun Chakravarthy. The inclusion of Moeen Ali or Anrich Nortje will depend on the conditions. On the other hand, GT’s batting has been solid with Sai Sudharshan, Jos Buttler, Shubman Gill, and Sherfane Rutherford leading the way. Gill, returning to his former home ground, will be looking to secure GT’s sixth win.

GT’s bowling attack, led by Prasidh Krishna, Sai Kishore, and Mohammed Siraj, has been impressive. Spinner Rashid Khan will look to continue his good form and help GT maintain their 2-1 head-to-head record against KKR. It promises to be an exciting match as both teams look to make their mark in the IPL.
