In a sensational start to the IPL season, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) continued their power-hitting dominance by posting a massive total of 286/6 against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Ishan Kishan stole the show with a scintillating unbeaten century on his SRH debut, leading the charge with a blistering 106 off just 47 balls. The left-hander’s innings, combined with contributions from Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, propelled SRH to their second consecutive high score in as many seasons.

Kishan credited the team environment and captain Pat Cummins for instilling confidence and freedom in the players. The aggressive intent of SRH’s batters was evident as they took on the RR bowlers from the outset, building a solid foundation for a formidable total. Despite some luck going their way, SRH’s aggressive approach paid off as they buried the opposition under a mountain of runs.

In response, RR showed fight with impressive performances from Sanju Samson, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, and Shubham Dubey. However, the target proved too daunting as SRH’s bowlers held their nerve to secure a comfortable victory, continuing their dominance in the tournament.
