Cricket fans in Mullanpur have a reason to celebrate as the city’s New Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium has been selected to host two crucial IPL 2025 play-off games, as per the revised schedule announced by the BCCI. The Qualifier 1 is set for May 29, featuring the top two teams, followed by the Eliminator on May 30 for the third and fourth-placed teams.

Teams like Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Gujarat Titans have already secured their spots in the play-offs, while Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians are still in contention for the final spot. If Punjab Kings finish in the top two, they will play Qualifier 1 at their home stadium in Mullanpur.

The remaining matches, Qualifier 2 on June 1 and the final on June 3, will be held at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The schedule was revised after a brief suspension earlier due to border tensions between India and Pakistan. The Mullanpur stadium had previously hosted four league matches and is now gearing up for the upcoming high-profile fixtures.
