The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to resume on May 17, with matches scheduled to be played in six different venues across the country. The League’s governing council has confirmed that the playoff venues will be announced at a later date.

The first match after the restart will be between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at 7:30pm IST. This match was originally scheduled to take place on the same date and venue.

Several teams will now have to play their home matches in different venues due to the new schedule. Some of the matches whose venues have been changed after the restart include CSK vs RR, which will now be played in Delhi instead of Chennai on May 20 at 7:30pm IST. PBKS vs DC and PBKS vs MI will be played in Jaipur instead of Dharamsala on May 24 and May 26 respectively at 7:30pm IST. SRH vs KKR will now take place in Delhi instead of Hyderabad on May 25 at 7:30pm IST.
