The 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) broke viewership records by reaching a billion viewers on television and digital platforms, with over 840 billion minutes of cumulative watch-time. Star Sports and JioHotstar were the top platforms, recording 456 billion and 384.6 billion minutes of watch-time respectively, with over 23.1 billion views.

The IPL 2025 final, won by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, became the most-watched T20 match in history with 31.7 billion minutes of watch-time. The final had 169 million TV viewers and 15 billion minutes of watch-time, while digitally it reached 892 million views with a peak concurrency of 55 million and 16.74 billion minutes of watch-time. The season started strong with the first three matches clocking 49.56 billion minutes of watch-time, setting an IPL record.
