He achieved this feat during a match against Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Rashid took his 150th wicket by dismissing Punjab opener Priyansh Arya in the seventh over. He accomplished this milestone in just 122 matches, making him the third-fastest bowler in IPL history to reach 150 wickets. Following Rashid in the rankings is Jasprit Bumrah, who achieved the same feat in 124 matches. Despite Rashid’s achievement, Gujarat Titans could not chase the target set by Punjab Kings and lost the match by 11 runs. In the match, Punjab Kings posted a massive total of 243/5, with Shreyas Iyer leading the charge with a blistering 97 off 37 balls. Sai Kishore took three wickets for Gujarat, while Kagiso Rabada and Rashid Khan picked up one each. The match showcased an exciting display of cricket with notable performances from both teams.
