The PSL 10 draft, initially planned to take place in Gwadar on January 11, 2025, has been relocated to Lahore due to logistical challenges faced by broadcasters. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) considered various factors before deciding on Lahore as the new venue, aiming for convenience for teams and broadcasting channels while also showcasing Pakistan’s rich history and culture.

There is a debate about whether the draft should be held at Badshahi Mosque or Lahore Fort, but it has been confirmed that Lahore will host the PSL 10 draft. Despite Gwadar’s beauty and impressive stadium, logistical issues forced the last-minute change in venue.

With winter in full swing, the PCB is making arrangements to ensure a comfortable environment for the draft ceremony in Lahore. Heating arrangements, including heaters, will be installed to keep celebrities and players warm during the event.

Teams initially expressed concerns about the Gwadar venue, but the shift to Lahore has been well received by all parties involved. The PCB has officially announced Lahore as the new location for the PSL 10 draft.

The PSL 10 retention lists will be revealed on January 4, followed by the draft on January 11. The exact timing and schedule for the draft in Lahore will be disclosed in the upcoming days.
