The Delhi Metro has adjusted its last train timings on all lines, including the Airport Express Line, to accommodate spectators attending T-20 matches of the Indian Premier League at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on April 13th, 16th, 27th, and 29th, as well as May 11th, 2025. The stadium is conveniently located near the Delhi Gate/ITO Metro stations on the Violet Line. In anticipation of the post-match rush at these stations, the Delhi Metro will operate an additional 76 train trips on match days, extending last train timings by 1-2 hours.

Additionally, the DMRC recently launched ‘The Metrostay,’ a pod-style hotel within New Delhi Metro Station, offering affordable lodging options starting at ₹400. The facility features bunk beds in dormitory-style rooms, digital lockers, a co-working space, games area, and a mini-theater. Separate dormitories and washrooms are provided for female travelers. Altamash, the store manager, mentioned plans for private rooms in the future.

These changes aim to provide a smooth and convenient experience for commuters and travelers using the Delhi Metro during the IPL matches in the city.
