Delhi Capitals have made a significant signing by bringing in Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman to replace Australian opener Jake Fraser-McGurk for the remainder of the IPL 2025 season. Fraser-McGurk, who played in six matches for the Capitals this season, will not be available for the rest of the tournament, which is set to resume on May 17.
Rahman, who previously played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016 and Delhi Capitals in 2022 and 2023, joins the team after a stint with Chennai Super Kings last season. The left-arm pacer has a wealth of experience, having played 106 T20Is for Bangladesh and taking 132 wickets in the format.
