Delhi Capitals (DC) fans are expressing their disappointment over the scheduling of their home games in the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL). Out of their seven home games, two were played in Vizag instead of Delhi, leaving fans with only five opportunities to watch their team play at home. This decision has frustrated many fans, who feel that the essence of supporting their city’s team is lost when they are forced to watch the games on TV from a different city. The delayed home games have dampened the excitement for fans, with some questioning the lack of support for the team in Delhi. Social media has been abuzz with fans voicing their concerns, with some speculating about the reasons behind the scheduling decisions. Reports of ground unavailability in Delhi have been refuted by Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), stating that the team is happy with the conditions of their home ground and is looking forward to playing the remaining home games there. Despite the backlash, the team’s management has a close association with Visakhapatnam, which may have influenced the decision to play the initial home games there.
