Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy of Kolkata Knight Riders were seen practicing their bowling drills at the Arun Jaitley Stadium ahead of their match against Delhi Capitals in the IPL. Under the guidance of spin bowling coach Carl Crowe, the two mystery bowlers focused on hitting specific spots on the pitch where orange markers were placed.

With KKR struggling at three wins in nine matches, Narine and Chakaravarthy will be crucial in their upcoming game. Varun has taken 11 wickets in nine matches with an economy of 6.85, while Narine has seven wickets in eight matches with an economy of 7.75. DC mentor Kevin Pietersen is wary of the threat posed by the KKR spinners and expressed a desire for a different pitch than the one used in the previous game against RCB.

Delhi Capitals have their own spinners in Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Vipraj Nigam, who can trouble the KKR batters. However, the slow pitch may not be favorable for DC’s stroke players like K.L. Rahul, Faf du Plessis, Karun Nair, and Tristan Stubbs.

As the match approaches, KKR will be counting on their spin duo to deliver a much-needed victory and boost their morale in the tournament. The performance of Narine and Chakaravarthy will be crucial in determining the outcome of the game against Delhi Capitals.
