The upcoming PSL 10 Draft is set to feature some big names, with England’s star batsman Dawid Malan recently signing up for the event on January 11th. This comes as a surprise after the England Cricket Board (ECB) had previously refused to grant NOCs to its players for participating in leagues like the PSL, sparking criticism. Despite this, top English players like David Willey, Jason Roy, Tom Curran, and now Dawid Malan have all joined the PSL 10 Draft.
Malan had previously played for Multan Sultans in PSL 9, where he impressed with his performances. In his last 10 matches for the team, Malan scored 265 runs with an average of 26.5 and a strike rate of 113.73, showcasing his talent as a top-order batsman. While he didn’t score a century, he did manage to score multiple half-centuries during his time with Multan Sultans.
Fans are eagerly anticipating whether Multan Sultans will retain Malan or if another franchise will pick him up during the draft.
