The Chennai Super Kings have finalized their list of retained and released players ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction, which is set to take place in mid-December. All 10 franchises submitted their final squads to the BCCI by the November 15 deadline.
In terms of released players, the Chennai Super Kings have let go of Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Sam Curran, Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar, Shaik Rasheed, Matheesha Pathirana, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Rahul Tripathi, Vansh Bedi, and Andre Siddarth.
On the other hand, the retained players for the Chennai Super Kings include Ruturaj Gaikwad (c), Ayush Mhatre, M.S. Dhoni, Dewald Brevis, Urvil Patel, Shivam Dube, Jamie Overton, Ramakrishna Ghosh, Noor Ahmad, Khaleel Ahmed, Anshul Kamboj, Gurjapneet Singh, Shreyas Gopal, Mukesh Choudhary, and Nathan Ellis.
Additionally, the team has traded in Sanju Samson for Rs. 14 crore.
The Chennai Super Kings have some purse remaining as they head into the mini-auction. The team is gearing up for the upcoming season with a mix of retained players, released players, and new additions through trades. The management is hopeful that the squad they have put together will be competitive and successful in the IPL 2026.
