Chennai Super Kings will have most of its overseas players available for their final two Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 league matches. Jamie Overton is the only player unavailable as he has been picked for England’s white-ball squad for the ODIs and T20Is against West Indies.

Players like Sam Curran, Dewald Brevis, Noor Ahmad, Matheesha Pathirana, and Devon Conway are expected to return to India, with the team awaiting confirmation on Rachin Ravindra’s availability. However, head coach Stephen Fleming will be present, but batting coach Michael Hussey and bowling consultant Eric Simons are not expected to travel.

CSK, a five-time champion, had a disappointing season and was the first team eliminated from Playoff contention. With just three wins, they are currently at the bottom of the points table.

Their upcoming matches are against Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, both teams that have also been eliminated. CSK will regroup in Delhi before their match on May 20.

The team has been giving opportunities to young players in their squad since it became clear they wouldn’t qualify for the playoffs. They will continue this trend in the final two matches as they look to build a strong team for the next season.

In their previous match against Kolkata Knight Riders, CSK emerged victorious before the league was paused due to border tensions between India and Pakistan.
