Chennai Super Kings (CSK) CEO Kasi Viswanathan announced that the team will begin their pre-season training on February 27 at the CSK High-Performance Centre in Navalur. The training camp will last for 10 days and all available Indian players, including captain MS Dhoni, will be in attendance.
Viswanathan confirmed that the training camp will be held at the High Performance Centre and that Dhoni will be participating along with other Indian players. The team is following their usual practice routine to prepare for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
A photo of Dhoni arriving at the Chennai airport was shared on CSK’s official social media handles. Several players such as Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shaik Rasheed, Vansh Bedi, Andre Siddarth, Ramakrishna Ghosh, Khaleel Ahmed, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Mukesh Choudhary, Anshul Kamboj, and Gurjapneet Singh have already arrived for the training camp. Support staff members like physiotherapist Tommy Simsek and trainer Gregory King are also present.
The IPL 2025 season is set to begin on March 22 with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders facing off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. CSK is determined to put up a strong performance in the upcoming season and is leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for the tournament.
