Australia and South Africa, both part of Group B in the Champions Trophy, will train at the ICC Academy in Dubai before their semifinal matches, regardless of where the games will be held. The decision was made by the International Cricket Council (ICC) due to the uncertainty of the finishing positions in Group A. Teams will only know if they need to travel to Dubai after the India vs New Zealand match on March 2. As a result, both teams from Group B will travel to Dubai after their last group match in Pakistan to ensure fairness and preparation. Australia has already arrived in Dubai after finishing second in Lahore, while South Africa, who finished at the top of Group B, will join them shortly. Both teams will practice at the ICC Academy before their respective semifinal matches. India will play their semifinal in Dubai, while the other semifinal will be held in Lahore. All teams will receive training sessions before their matches.
