The upcoming Pakistan Super League Season 10 is set to commence, with the Punjab Government guaranteeing 100% security for all players representing various cricket franchises in the tournament. This assurance has brought a sense of relief and satisfaction to both players and officials.

The Pakistan Army and Rangers, in collaboration with local police forces, will be actively engaged in ensuring the safety of players throughout the tournament. Given that matches will be held in multiple cities including Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi, an additional layer of security has been implemented this year.

Players will be provided with full security coverage from their hotels to the stadiums and back in each host city. Inside the stadiums, strict security measures will be in place to protect all players.

In light of recent security concerns in Punjab, which are suspected to be linked to foreign plots, the Government of Pakistan and Punjab administration are leaving no stone unturned in safeguarding the PSL 10 event. They have sought the support of the Federal Ministry and Interior Ministry to deploy local police as an extra security measure for the players, ensuring that every player, whether local or international, feels safe during their time in Pakistan.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on April 11, with the PSL Final slated for May 18. Until then, the Pakistan Army, Rangers, and police forces will be on high alert to provide top-level protection for everyone involved in the tournament.
