Chasing down a target set by Punjab Kings, Abhishek and Head formed a strong partnership, with Abhishek reaching his half-century in just 19 balls. Head then took charge, hitting crucial boundaries to guide SRH to victory with ease.
Despite a strong start by Punjab Kings, thanks to Shreyas Iyer’s quick half-century, Harshal Patel’s four-wicket haul and a late surge by Marcus Stoinis, SRH’s bowlers were able to contain their opponents.
In the end, SRH’s strong batting display and disciplined bowling performance sealed their second win of the season, much to the delight of their home fans. The team’s resilience and determination proved to be the key factors in their impressive victory over Punjab Kings.
